Start of a new year

Im 30 years old, 10kg heavier than I ought to be, with shortness of breath when climbing from basement to second floor where our office is.

Today is the day I decide to change. No more excuses. This has to be done.

To set things in the right track, I had just finished my annual physical exam and had learned that my blood pressure is not ok. Diastolic pressure is high at 90, which means there is increase in workload when my heart is supplying blood to the heary muscles. Because of this, I was referred to the dietician and is scheduled to go on pulmonary function test on Wednesday.

Off I went to the dietician and had my initial consult. To lose weight, I need to make sure I consume just about 1200 calirories per day. I must also do a regular exercise routine of at least 3 times per week. I also need to do a food diary and will have to go back for another consult next week.
